POLIMNIA
Transforming urban space through the beauty by Teatro Selvatico

Polimnia aims at the creation of a close-knit pack capable of making artistic and wild attacks in inhabited areas, harmless and aesthetic incursions, but which carry with them a strong message: It is important to let art and wonder invade the squares to bring new life and reflection to the streets.

The workshop will be divided into two parts: in the first one we will get to know each other and each of us will build their own paper mask; in the second, they will take part in an artistic incursion through the streets of Valdagno. The mask enables us to cross the boundary separating human beings from animals and to explore the concept of the invisible and of identity. A work on instinct and on the organisational skills of the group, characterised by unique personalities with one revolutionary intention: to awaken the city!

The workshop will be held on 4 September from 10.00 a.m to 6.00 p.m at Sala Marzottini (Via Gaetano Marzotto 1/C) and is open to actors, dancers, performers or just curious people.
The workshop costs 20€ (to be paid directly on-site).

IL MONDO SENZA CIELO
Dramaturgy writing workshop by Sonia Antinori

The theme of doubt about reality runs through all theatre literature.
"For me I am what I am believed to be" says Mrs Ponza in Così è se vi pare, alluding in this way to the absence of an external reality, knowable in an objective way. Psychoanalysis, on the other hand, corroborating the plurality of perspectives, has nourished the surreal genius of certain authors who, like Escher or Magritte in the figurative arts, have upset the concept of the factual, exalting the interpreted datum. But lies and truth also inhabit works of the more remote past, just think of Hamlet using mystification as a weapon of revelation.

Through verbal traps disguised as impromptu exercises, heretical games on identification and choral experiments, the workshop aims to investigate the paths of a new political theatre, which starts from the role that each of us can play in the great machine of History.

The workshop will take place from 6 to 8 September from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. at Sala Marzottini (Via Gaetano Marzotto 1/C).
The cost of the workshop is €100 (participants will be asked to pay an initial deposit of €25 when confirming their registration).

MUSICA PER IL TEATRO O TEATRO MUSICALE?
Workshop on musical composition for theatre by Mauro Montalbetti

The purpose of the workshop is to analyse and discuss some theoretical and practical arguments of musical composition for theatre. Starting from Mauro Montalbetti's many years of experience, some of his scores will be examined as a starting point for reflection, analysis of compositional techniques and musical languages particularly functional on stage.

The workshop is designed for students of composition or musicians who have a basic musical knowledge (musical reading, harmony theory), with some composition experience - even in a non-professional context - for theatre or dance performances. The workshop is also open to an audience of listeners who can watch the work of the artistic director without having to take part in the lessons.

There are no age limits.

The workshop will take place at the headquarters of the association Progetto Musica, Scuola di Musica V.E.Marzotto, (Valdagno, via Panzini 4), from 7 to 9 September from 3.00 pm to 7.30 pm.
The workshop costs 100€ for participants and 40€ for listeners (participants will be asked to pay a deposit of 25€ upon confirmation of registration).

TORNARE A VEDERE
Vision and critique workshop by Andrea Pocosgnich

Thanks to the expert guidance of Andrea Pocosgnich, thoughts and writings will be collectively developed by elaborating tools for reading contemporary languages, strategies of analysis, understanding of the dynamics of theatre production, deepening the formats of online journalism. Each morning the group will move as a real editorial staff, alternating theory and practice, with the task of publishing articles about the tenth edition of CrashTest.

The title of the workshop means 'returning to see': what does it mean, today, to watch a contemporary theatre performance? Romeo Castellucci said a few years ago that "watching is no longer an innocent, naive act [...]. The gaze is hyper-stressed". Moreover, what does it mean to go back to the theatre now, after the theatres have been closed for months and our eyes have only been confronted with the two-dimensionality of screens?

The workshop is designed for theatre critics/journalists, but it is also open to enthusiastic spectators, beginners in writing, aged between 18 and 35.
The workshop will take place from 9 to 12 September, with the first meeting in the afternoon of 9 September and the following meetings from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at Sala Marzottini (Via Gaetano Marzotto 1/C).

The cost of the workshop is 100€. Participants will be guaranteed board and lodging for the duration of the workshop, with an additional contribution of €50.

Workshop Spettatori Critici

Theatre is for everyone. Performance can be loved, hated or can leave us indifferent. Reading it is not always easy, but it is important to find keys to interpret it, understand it, make it your own.

CrashTest proposes 3 meetings, free and open to all, led by young critics, to learn, discuss, learn, get some answers but above all find the right questions.
The workshops will last one hour, from 7.00 to 8.00 pm on 10, 11 and 12 September.

All the workshops will be held at the Teatro Super in Valdagno (Viale Trento, 28).
Pre-registration is required not later than the evening of the previous day at:
